In 2014 the project was expanded with the creation of the island of Ibiza’s first ‘oleoteca’ – a space dedicated to producing and sampling olive oils – the Oleoteca Ses Escoles. Ses Escoles is located on the same premises in a landmark building, the former school of San Lorenzo, the source of the name ‘Ses Escoles’, which means ‘the schools’ in the local language. Isabel López Vilalta’s architectural studio was responsible for turning these old schools into what they are today, a space that exudes a deep respect for its history and its natural surroundings.

Ses Escoles is a neat space with straight lines and a clean, simple decor adapted to its surroundings that bring together gastronomy and the cultivation of olive trees. The restaurant is designed to enjoy gastronomy and feel the essence of Ibiza: The main dining room with views of the kitchen, a very bright covered interior patio, two private rooms that are perfect for small groups, and an outdoor terrace ideal for enjoyable evenings in the summer months.

The outdoor terrace is the perfect place for enjoyable evenings under the Ibizan moon, surrounded by olive trees from our Can Miquel Guasch oil mill and local plant life and accompanied by live music in the summer months.

In our small shop you can find and buy some of the island’s most typical and well-known products. Handicrafts, wines from Ibiza, gourmet products and Can Miquel Guasch Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. Plus, a cosmetics range and ‘Ibiza Senses’ scented candles made with organic oil from the farm.
